The Iconic Slopes

HOW DOES ONE GET THE BEST FROM THE PISTES OF MÉRIBEL AND THE 3 VALLÉES WHEN YOU ARE A GOOD SKIER?

There is no doubt that being at the heart of the world’s largest ski area means being in the best place to enjoy runs of character, either carefully groomed or deliberately left ungroomed after snowfall for hunters of ‘powder’. Add to this the exceptional snow quality offered by the variety of altitudes and exposures, and you have the best playground for experienced skiers.

From December to April, our iconic slopes, our XXL off-piste area and our challenge zones are the perfect destinations for excellent skiers from all over the world. Those who want to challenge themselves, push their limits and experience new sensations know that they will find their happiness at Méribel.

Les 3 Vallées also means 62,000 metres of vertical drop (that’s 7 times Everest) accessible thanks to high-performance lifts that allow you to spend more time skiing and less time waiting.

THE ICONIC SKI SLOPES OF MERIBEL AND THE 3 VALLEES

An iconic piste is many things: a story, strong sensations and emotions, grandiose landscapes, memories, commitment, and with that little something special, yet indefinable, that is the stuff of legends… in Méribel and in the 3 valleys, they are numerous!

Combe20du20Vallon

THE COMBE DU VALLON, THE LONGEST PISTE IN THE 3 VALLEYS

From Mont Vallon to Méribel Mottaret, you can ski on the longest slope of the 3 Vallées. The start is at an altitude of almost 3,000 metres. Stop for a moment to admire the sublime panorama with its glacial atmosphere. Then, take the famous Combe du Vallon piste: a steady slope, 3 kilometres of piste, relatively demanding and often bumpy… The Mont Vallon piste in Méribel is the colossus of the 3 Vallées. From the top, you dive directly into great skiing, technical, motivating, with a view on the beautiful valley of Méribel below. As a crowning touch, the view of the lake of Tueda! Then, take the Ours piste above the Tueda reserve to reach Méribel -Mottaret. Once down, you can congratulate your-self for having skied the longest run in the 3 Valleys, then head up to do it again!

THE ROC DE FER PISTE: THE PISTE OF CHAMPIONS

The stage for the finals of the Alpine Ski World Cup finals in 2015, the Roc de Fer piste is definitely iconic!
