EA NEED FOR NATURE AND AUTHENTICITY
Rather than ‘going skiing’, think of ‘getting out into the mountains’ – it’ll open up a whole new world!
Discover the hidden treasures of Méribel, a Savoyard jewel in the heart of the Alps, thanks to its network of paths, free buses, and the many activities and services on offer.
The numerous, signposted walking paths are the best way to discover this beautiful valley.
All you have to do is follow the little snowman logos (see map). The paths may be walked in either direction and are open to all walkers. They are regularly maintained so you can use them every day of the week and in all weather conditions.
Please note these paths are unsupervised and you take them under your own responsibility.
SIGNPOSTED WALKING PATHS ENABLE YOU TO DISCOVER THE BEAUTIES OF THE VALLEY
• Non-skier or ‘pedestrian’ lift passes
• They allow you to use the gondola and chairlifts to access the starting points for walks around the valley. They also offer an easy way to return to the resort.
• They also allow you to use specified lifts in les 3 Vallées.
• A map of the 3 Vallées lifts which may be used by non-skiers is available at the Tourist Offices and lift pass offices.
Discover the “Quest for the Heart of Méribel“, an Explor Game in the Tuéda Nature Reserve accessed with a mobile phone app (free).
