Since the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games, the Roc de Fer track have left their mark on the minds of Olympism. Since the 2015 World Cup finals, the resort of Méribel has given new life to this mythical track and offers you the opportunity to fulfil a dream: to live the unique experience of an Alpine Ski World Cup or a World Championship. Indeed, the Roc de Fer slope will host this new international event in 2023 alongside Courchevel. For a day, the mythical Roc de Fer track is open to anyone who wants to challenge it. You can follow in the footsteps of the greatest champions through 3 Alpine Ski World Cup disciplines: Super Giant, Giant and Slalom. The resort of Méribel, in partnership with the ESF, will allow you to live this UNIQUE experience in complete safety. You will be supervised by ESF Méribel instructors who will ensure the smooth running of the day. Also, SALOMON will have you test its 2021 ski range for the occasion.

"The idea of the Roc de Fer challenge is to be able to carry out the main disciplines in the world of alpine skiing. And this on a world-class track that is not permanently open to the public. The advantage is that participants can put themselves in running conditions and perform the events like champions in complete safety. This is an event for the general public and accessible to everyone with the same desire: to have fun on a mythical ski slope! "Yannick FAVIERES, in charge of the ESF Stadium in Chaudanne and Mottaret.

1 CHALLENGE / 3 PROPOSED DISCIPLINES:
- A SUPER GÉANT (speed skiing) from the top of the stadium, on the same track as the Super-G of the upcoming 2015 World Cup and 2023 World Championships finals.
- A Giant on the road of the final part of the Giant in 2015 and 2023.
- A SLALOM on the lower part of the stadium where all the other slaloms usually take place.

Each event, supervised by the ESF instructors available to give their advice, is timed under the conditions of a World Championship run! For the giant and the slalom: time display on a giant screen + video of his performance.
