Walking Trail Refuge du Saut through les Ramées

Description

Move forward to the direction of Lac de Tuéda. Take the direction of Refuge du Saut, 50 m after the last garages on your right, then bypass the last residences of Châtelet.

This loop will amaze you with a huge diversity of landscapes, flora and fauna. After a start into the forest of Ramées woodland, this itinerary offer you to take a bit of height to rally the "Plateau de la Plage" up to 2000m of altitude at the bottom of Aiguille du Fruit. Here start the Vanoise national parc and the high mountain domain: a big range of other hike is facing you. Chanrouge pass, Red pass, Sulphur pass and Gebroulaz glaciar. To return to Meribel-Mottaret, follow the gravel road until Tueda lake. Maybe a group of marmot will greet you with a shrilly whistle to invite you to come back in Vanoise.
