Description

Take a cable car Tougnète 1 at Chaudanne, then a chairlift Tougnète 2. The path gets down to Pas de Cherferie, le Verdet, Roc de Fer. You arrive at the level of Grand Lac situated at Col de St Jean where you start going down.

It is with a breathtaking panoramic view that you will arrive at the top of Tougnète at 2434m of altitude where you will have an amazing view over Meribel Valley, the Mont Blanc and the Mont Jovet in one side, and the Belleville valley, Cime Caron at the other side. From the submit, keep going on the crest which allows you to join Grand Lac. You will maybe see some wildlife !
