Description

1290 Points – The ride down the valley from Moutiers provides a great warm up before the serious business of the climb begins. All three climbs to the Madeleine, between the Tarentaise and Maurienne Valleys, are among the area's 15 most difficult ascents.

The Madeleine is a true cycling legend, having featured in the Tour de France 23 times since the war - more than any other pass in Savoie.
