Opening of the exhibition by Nick Purdy & Nicole Paliard and start of Mountain Art fortnight
Art takes up residence in Méribel from Monday 4th of August to Friday 16th of August. This is an occasion to discover the exhibition of works by Nicole Paliard and Nick Purdy while enjoying a welcome drink for the opening of the exposition.
Interview with Nicole Paliard:
A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, I have worked as a painter and sculptor in the Rhône-Alpes region for thirty years: The mountain is my universe and my inspiration. Passionate about form, colour and transparency, my designs derive from a mix of materials and from my meetings with artists of great expertise (master glassmakers, photographers, painters-muralists, musicians etc).
It is possible to view many of my works in the region: a monumental painting at Vaugelas high school in Chambéry, the "Sentier du Fer" at Pinsot (38), wall paintings in the valley of Grésivaudan, monumental paintings at the church in Allevard, stained glass windows in the mountain church of Ferrière (38).

Interview with Marion Moulin:
A journey beyond the world of appearances
From generation to generation,
my family passed on their love of art,
I spent my childhood drawing
in my father's studio.
After a career in fashion
and many travels,
I turned to this devouring passion
fifteen years ago,
self-taught painter and artist,
I let my imagination guide me
to the border of the real and the imaginary.
Through my creations,
I reflect about our reality,
do we evolve in a virtual world?
An enchanted prison, a matrix
which cuts us off from ourselves?
On my canvases norms become forms,
Let your imagination guide you
as if in a dream.
