Timed Cycling Climbs

Come and share your passion for cycling and enjoy the scenery on cyclo-timed climbs! Departure: Les Allues (1100 m) - Arrival: Altiport (1720 m). Difference in altitude: 620 m / Length: 9.5 km. Average slope: 6% / Maximum slope: 9%.

Entries are taken by the Cycle Club. Entries close 15 minutes before the start. For those who wish it, a change of clothing will be taken to the finish area by the Club. Group starts. Numbers are given out on presentation of entry form. Rankings according to FFC rules.

Entry fee is 6€ and includes refreshments at the finish.

Racers must respect the French Highway Code. Anybody contravening the Highway Code will be disqualified. Méribel’s Bike Club will make the necessary provisions for the safety and organisation of the event.

The event is open to people over-18 and those under 18 with parental permission.

Helmets must be worn.

Competitors must prove his or her physical aptitude to take part in the cycle ascent by producing a medical certificate or a licence (club membership card). Junior competitors must be members of the FFC and be supervised by a club or provide written parental authorisation.

The organisers are covered by public liability insurance. Holders of a French licence are covered by the insurance thereby provided. All other participants must take out their own insurance.

By entering the competition, competitors give their tacit agreement to use photos or images taken of the competition for promotional purposes.
