Starting in Aix-les-Bains - The Cycloclimbing Challenges

Aix-les-Bains is an excellent base from which to explore the mountains of the Bauges and Chartreuse, and to tackle the steep climb to the Mont du Chat. Almost every climb provides glimpses of Lake Bourget, France’s largest natural lake.

Ascents through the forests and clearings of the Bauges include the road to Mont Revard, from where the view extends all the way from Mont Blanc to the Jura. Mont du Chat is an exceptionally sustained climb and one of Savoie’s top 10 Cycloclimbing Challenges.
